Sir Prof. Rev. Dr. ENRICO MELSON, MD, DD(H), DASH, DNM(H), MPH, FACPM, DAAPM, ABIHM, MHT, MHLA, MBEP, (DIM), KSJ– For 28 years, EnRico has lectured and advocated worldwide for Mind-Body and Integrative Medicine, for Integral Awareness Mastery (I-AM TM), and Awareness Systems Providing Energetic Core Transformation (ASPECT). EnRico was a National Merit/ California Physicians Scholar at Harvard University, receiving his A.B. in Public Health, in 1977.
He completed his Masters in Public Health (M.P.H.) degree at the University of California at Berkeley in 1981. His Medical education was at the University of California at Irvine, and at Stanford University, with his M.D. from UCI in 1982.
His Post-Doctoral training includes: Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center of Cornell Univ.; Montefiore/ Albert Einstein Medical Centers; The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, The Health Care Financing Admin; and The Univ. of Iowa College of Medicine. Dr. Melson has held multiple Allopathic credentials, including: General Preventive Medicine and Public Health; Occupational/ Environmental Medicine; Family Medicine; Pain Management; Disability Evaluation; Medical Administration; and Epidemiology and Health Services Research. He also holds such other Complementary and Integrative Medicine (CIM) credentials as: Doctor of Natural Medicine (Honorary); Diplomate in Integrative Holistic Medicine; Fellow in Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine; Medical HypnoTherapist; Trainer in Neuro Linguistic Programming; Ayurveda Practitioner; Master Bio-Energetics Practitioner; Dynamic Integral Medica; and Trainer in numerous Mind/ Body Integration practices. He has directed multiple programs and clinics in Ayurvedic, Mind-Body, Spa, Primary Care, MedEvac, Urgent Care, Occupational, Environmental, and Integrative Medicine.
EnRico is the Developer of the HoloLinguistic Awareness (HLA) Methodology, as well as the Integral Awareness Medicine (I- AM TM) and Syntelligence Systems. His studies of Ancient Systems include Ayurvedic Medicine, Hawaiian Huna, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Shamanic pursuits. He currently lives in New Zealand, and has begun His immersion in Maori Healing practices. From 1987 through 1994 EnRico served as Adjunct Clinical Professor within the Department of Environmental and Preventive Medicine at the University of Iowa. His commitment to environmentalism, sustainability, and “integral-green” technologies and solutions extends to the present day, through His frequent requests to consult and advise on problems and projects related to such.
Since early 2009 He has served as a Principal Advisor to the current Chair of the InterGovernmental Renewable Energy Organization of the United Nations (IREO). Over His years as a Physician, EnRico has undertaken numerous dangerous, though very fulfilling, Humanitarian Missions to disaster areas around the world, including war zones and natural disaster regions. These experiences into the depths and darkness of Human Suffering also greatly influenced His development as a Professional, a Spiritual Being, and as a Global Citizen. Additionally, EnRico is a former Officer (Lieutenant Commander) in the United States Public Health Service. His four year service in that capacity allowed Him to contribute in the Indian Health Service, Alaska Native Health Service, Centers for Disease Control, Health Care Finance Administration, and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – in such capacities as Clinician, Administrator, Leader, Researcher, Professor, and International Liaison. His recent and current services include: President and Founder of The Integral Medicine Institute in Beverly Hills, CA; Chancellor of Quantum-Veritas International University Systems (QVIUS–Australasia); Executive Director, Global Integrative Medicine Network (GIMN); Visiting Professor, Beijing Traditional Chinese Medicine University; Senior Advisor, INIT (Intelligent Information Technology); Senior Advisor, China NeuroInformatics Centre. He is also former: Advisor, World Organization of Natural Medicine (WONM); Chief Medical Officer, Bridge Global Services; Vice-Chancellor for Innovative Medicine, Global Foundation for Integrative Medicines (GFIM). Rico has worked in International Communications and Technology Development, since 1984. He Co-Founded Tri-Star Technologies, Inc., and led their participation in INTELSAT'S PROJECT S.H.A.R.E. (Satellites for Health and Rural Education).
He has been acknowledged by numerous International organizations for his work in advancing TeleMedicine, TeleEducation, and Informatics Networks in Lesser-Developed Countries (LDC's). He also lectures frequently, worldwide. EnRico is Professor and Senior Scientist of China’s THIRD-BRAIN Research Institute, a Think Tank and Neuro-Bio-Informatics R&D Centre. He has also served as Senior Advisor to the China NeuroInformatics Center, and to the International BioMedical Network Data Sharing Projects, supporting China's participation in the Global effort to "Map" and more completely understand the functions and capacities of the Human Brain/ Mind/ Consciousness Axis. As INIT Senior Advisor, using NeuroScience-based technologies, along with Consciousness Research modeling, he has helped INIT develop Advanced Learning Engine Products, such as Rapid Language Acquisition, for e-Learning markets. In 2008 ‘Sir EnRico’ received His Knight of Honor (KSJ) in The Sovereign Order of the Orthodox Knights Hospitaller of St. John of Jerusalem – acknowledging His life- long Scientific, Healing, and Humanitarian contributions and Service. Also in 2008, He became a Member of the Transformational Leadership Council (TLC), a prestigious, Globally-renown organization of leaders in New Thought and Growth.
Further to His Spiritual development and practice, He has also become an Ordained Interfaith Minister. EnRico has recently been awarded an Honorary Doctor of Divinity (D.D.) as well as Doctor of Applied Spiritual Healing (DASH) and Servant to Humanity (Ser.) Credentials. He has received high accolades from numerous Spiritual Leaders and Masters from many of the World’s Spiritual Traditions: Christian, Buddhist, Hindu/Vedic, Sikh, Muslim, Maori, Polynesian, Shamanic, Native American, Taoist, Sufi, Baha’i, and Eskimo. EnRico has three Children: Che’, 26, Nolan, 21, and Krystyanna, 11. He considers each of Them much more advanced than He.
